It wasnt even the mechanism that gave it up, the outside housing broke after he slammed it under the fridge. My order did arrive quickly, which is the only good thing about the seller of this so called deal. The first swivel was taken out of the box, fully charged the 8 hours it called for, and put to work. I immediateley noticed it wasnt near as powerful as my original sweeper, but used it anyway for about two weeks. Due to hair, dust, trash getting caught in the brushes, we learned a good cleaning and maintenance was necessary to upkeep this time saver I had initially invested in.
